Soggy Boats is a free paper boat game made by Nihar, on the website and in the apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. Here is how to get help.

Your saves

• Your progress is saved on the device you play on, in your browser's storage or in the app. There is no cloud save.
• Saves do not move between browsers or devices. Signing in keeps your username and your online bests with you, but level progress stays on each device.
• Clearing this site's data in your browser, or deleting the app, erases the save. In a private or incognito window, progress can be lost when you close it.
• To start over, open Settings and choose Reset progress. It clears levels, best times, gems, riders and the boards for this device, and keeps your settings. It does not change anything stored online.

Controls on a keyboard

• Steer: A and D, or the Left and Right arrow keys
• Hop over grates: Space, W or the Up arrow key
• Duck under pipes: hold S or the Down arrow key
• Pause and resume: Esc or P
• Restart the level: R
• Sound on or off: M
• Menus: arrow keys to move, Enter to choose, Esc to go back

Controls on a touch screen

• Steer: hold the left or right half of the screen
• Hop over grates: tap both halves at the same time, or swipe up
• Duck under pipes: swipe down and keep your finger down
• Pause: the pause button at the top right, which also has Restart

Settings has a Fullscreen switch in browsers that support it.

Report a player name

If a name on an Everyone board is rude or personal, choose Report on its row. That opens an email to us with the name, the board and the player id filled in. You can also email hello@soggy.boats with the name and the board it is on, Endless or Speedrun. It gets removed promptly.

To stop seeing a player, choose Hide on their row. Their rows leave your boards on that device. Unhide all, under the board, brings everyone back.

Bugs and ideas

Soggy Boats is open source. Report bugs and suggest ideas in the GitHub issues. Say which device and browser you use and what happened. Issues are public, so please do not post personal data, such as your email address, there.
